Hey, it’s Marcel and Jason. Welcome to Issue #1 of the AI-Led Growth newsletter.
We’re in the middle of the biggest shift marketing has ever seen—both in how the work gets done and which channels drive results.
This newsletter (and our community) exists to equip you with the tools to win.
Since this is the first issue, let us explain what you’ll get each week:
A curated reading list for marketing leaders—written by our team or posts that bubbled to the top in the past week
Practical workshops, guides, and frameworks—like our 2-hour masterclass breaking down content workflows from companies like Webflow, Ramp, and Augment Code
Early access to podcasts weeks before they go live, like this week’s episode with G and Gonto from Hypergrowth Partners on the state of Growth.
Invite-only events, like our next deep dive on creating content engines or our AI x GTM Mixer at 25 Lusk during HubSpot’s Inbound conference
A 1,000+ registrant workshop on winning AI mentions

Last Friday, we hosted a 2-hour workshop on AEO and GEO. Instead of just talking about monitoring, we focused on the workflows and processes that create content that wins AI search, like:
Run a one-week research sprint to create company context, personas, and tone docs.
Use those artifacts to map topics, plan weekly content, and publish editor-reviewed, fact-checked pages on schedule.
Earn citations and brand mentions by placing stories on Reddit, YouTube, podcasts, and press—with clear offers attached.
Track ROI in one dashboard with LLM referrals, citations, branded search lift, and page-to-offer conversion.
Own your audience by capturing them in newsletters with irresistible offers.
If you missed it, watch the recording and get the prompt templates.
Better yet, join our next workshop that goes deeper into the bar-raising content workflows for companies where accuracy and expertise aren’t optional — they’re the product.
How the godfathers of growth are leveraging AI
We recently sat down with G (Ramp, Segment) and Gonto (Vercel, Auth0) to discuss the future of growth as AI reshapes everything.
Between the two of them and their firm, Hypergrowth Partners, you will be hard-pressed to find a startup in hypergrowth that hasn’t benefited from their direct influence.
As expected, there were both hot takes and immediately actionable advice.
What we’ve been reading:
GPT 5, micro-managing, and the value of community
GPT 5 came out last week.
The results were mostly positive. Though for power users, the automatic routing between research, thinking, and regular responses sometimes lacked precision. The folks over at Every did a nice write-up.
With AI, everyone is a manager.
So as you’re refining your managing style, hear how leaders from Apple, Rippling, Stripe, Uber, and more share why “never micromanage” can be bad advice — and how the best managers balance diving into details with giving teams autonomy. Tactics range from Jack Altman’s use of micromanagement to set standards, to Matt MacInnis’s “go and see” principle, Krithika Shankarraman’s review systems for brand quality, and Will Larson’s “conflict mining” for context. Others stress building trust, regular feedback, peer review systems, hiring managers who can do the work themselves, and staying a critical user of your own product. Read more.
With AI, pricing models are being disrupted.
Pricing expert Madhavan Ramanujam and a16z’s Martin Casado highlight why AI companies must move beyond traditional per-seat SaaS pricing toward value- or outcome-based models that capture 25–50% of the value created. From Ramanujam’s 2x2 framework, “give-and-get” negotiation tactics, and $0.99 per AI resolution examples, to a16z’s breakdown of usage-based billing, GTM alignment, and output-focused metrics, both stress getting monetization right from day one.
